CES 2023 News: Yaber Pico T1 Travel Projector
Last year, Yaber launched the Pico T1 on Indiegogo. After a hugely successful campaign smashing its backing target, it’s now on show at CES 2023 and on general sale, although currently sold out!
This tiny and lightweight projector is perfect for travelling thanks to its ultra-slimline build and light 150g weight, but it will also work with most other devices already in your travel tech line-up.
Yaber Pico T1 Features
To achieve such a lightweight projector, Yaber has excluded an onboard battery and opted for Quick Charge power support. And, with rated inputs of 5V@3A, 9V@2A and 12V@1.5A, and the total power rating is 9W, almost any modern portable power bank with PD3.0 or QC2.0 will do, or if you are in a hotel, you can use a power socket.
At just 150 x 75 x 13.1mm, Yaber has focused on a small but powerful(ish) projector that integrates with not only a power bank but also Bluetooth audio devices and streams from a smartphone or tablet. The projector even comes with a magnetic tripod to deliver the best possible angle to view your media on.
The bulb delivers a 960 x 540p image in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a stated brightness of 110 ANSI lumens which is at the slightly dimmer end of the scale but due to the pocket-friendly size of the device is a trade-off I’d be willing to take for an image projection of up to 100 inches.
The Yaber Pico T1 runs on a smartOS which will provide basic operations and will come with Android TV built in. There is even support for apps such as YouTube Kids, YouTube, Hulu, HBO, Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix to be installed or simply mirror another display.
Yaber Pico T1 is very easy to use as it is just a plug & play device. You don’t have to go through any lengthy process of installing it and finding its compatibility to use it. Working with PD quick charging can help you save a lot of time.
Jaber
For such a small projector, the Pico T1 has a respectable amount of ports to connect it to other devices. A single Mini HDMI can be used to connect with games consoles and laptop while the two USB-C ports can be used for power and mobile devices.
