CabPack by Altitude Bags
CabPack is an expandable Backpack that compresses down for your daily commute but can enlarge in size for a short 2-3 days of travel.
If done right, multifunctional Backpacks are always a winner for travellers, can often help reduce the need for an additional bag/case and therefore save on some airline fees.
Features
Many expandable Backpacks on the market today adopt the roll-top method of increasing the capacity of the bag. Which is fine if it’s more space that’s needed.
The CabPack, not only increases the internal storage space but does so whilst maintaining some order with a good selection of pockets and internal sleeves.
Altitude specialises in stylish and functional travel goods that are purposefully created for fellow travellers.

CabPack is loaded with heaps of thoughtful compartments to keep you organised.
Compress and Expand with CabPack
The CabPack is divided into two halves. On one side is a regular pack with pockets and pouches for all your gadgets. Then behind a mesh divider a storage area that can expand up to 43% to accommodate whatever you need to carry.
Around the circumference of the CabPack runs a Compression Zip which is supported by dual straps on either side. These combined, provide the pack to expand as required and then compress it when in transit.

Inside the CabPack
At the front of the CabPack there is a selection of fixed, expandable mesh and zip pockets for all different devices.
Running down the rear of the pack is a felt-lined sleeve that can carry up to a 15″ notebook. At the front of the sleeve is a slip pocket for smaller tablets and eReaders.
It’s worth noting that thanks to the layout, the CabPack provides access to items needed during an airport security check without having to remove all the other non-essential items.
Backpack Exterior
On the front panel, there are two pockets which are accessible by others when being worn. This reduces the security somewhat, but keep any valuables out of them and should a pickpocket gain access, you will not be losing too much.
CabPack has countered this by including a rear hidden pocket for your more valuable items for which you need quick access too.

At the top and side are padded carry/grab handles for different carrying modes.
It’s worth noting there is no mention of a luggage sleeve in the press notice. Therefore the CabPack may not be able to be attached to a suitcase or carry-on by sliding it onto the handle.
But if you are travelling with a CabPack for a short trip, the theory is, you’ll not be needing the additional case anyway!
Specifications
Multifunctional and organised are not often used together when describing a backpack, but the CabPack achieves both.
By making only one-half expandable to what you need, the other side ensures a regular place for each of your devices and the backpack can be used for a commute, a trip away or both.
