IFA 2025, taking place in Berlin from 5–9 September, is Europe’s biggest annual consumer technology event where global brands unveil their latest innovations, including the Komutr MagSafe earbuds.
IFA 2025 News
First shown at CES 2025, Komutr earbuds were a headline grabber. Now, at IFA Berlin, they’re officially up for grabs. Almost!
Developed by Artronic Designs, these ultra-slim wireless earbuds come housed in a magnetic charging case that snaps to the back of your iPhone using MagSafe.
The goal? Put an end to the lost earbud epidemic.
The Komutr earbuds are designed for commuters, gym-goers, and anyone tired of rummaging through bags for a charging case.

At the heart of this answer to a prevalent problem is a 12mm thick case which has even found space to include a small built-in kickstand for hands-free viewing. Weighing around 4g each, the earbuds are among the lightest around, yet still pack a solid set of audio features.
Despite their size, the Komutr earbuds deliver impressive sound via large 8mm drivers and include both Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for clearer calls. The company’s ArtBud app will support over-the-air updates and EQ customisation.
However, the earbuds are already kitted out with onboard touch controls for playback, volume, voice assistant access, and call handling.
Battery life is quoted as seven hours of listening time on a single charge, with up to 30 hours available via the MagSafe charging case. The case charges via USB-C or any Qi wireless charger.
IFA 2025, running from 5–9 September at Messe Berlin, is Europe’s biggest annual consumer technology show. It’s a key date for travel-tech enthusiasts, where brands unveil new gadgets, smart luggage, and connected gear designed to make life on the move easier.
The event welcomes both industry and the public, offering hands-on time with products that could transform your next trip.
While the Komutr earbuds don’t come with a charging cable or wireless charger in the box, Artronic says this was a conscious move to reduce e-waste and packaging.
Designed to handle the wear and tear of daily use, the earbuds are also sweat-resistant. In-ear detection is built in to auto-pause playback when removed, and they support both iOS and Android devices.

With its sleek design and MagSafe snap, Komutr stays with you, delivering premium sound wherever life takes you.
For iPhone users, there’s Find My integration, a new addition since the original January launch, to help track down misplaced buds. That’s a handy feature when the entire point is not losing them in the first place.
