IFA 2025, taking place in Berlin from 5–9 September, is Europe’s biggest annual consumer technology event where global brands unveil their latest innovations, including the Plaud Note Pro.
IFA 2025 News
Plaud.ai, a brand now trusted by over a million users globally, has unveiled the world’s first AI note-taker designed for real-time human-AI alignment.
The new Plaud Note Pro makes its public debut at IFA 2025, introducing a breakthrough interaction: Press to highlight, a one-tap signal that tells Plaud’s AI what matters most, as it happens.
It’s a significant step toward real-time understanding between human input and AI interpretation.
Plaud Note Pro IFA 2025
The Plaud Note Pro is an ultra-thin, AI-powered voice recorder with a premium design and performance, designed for professionals who rely on fast, precise, and reliable notes from conversations, calls, or meetings.
It features a powerful five-mic setup utilising 4 MEMS and 1 VCS microphones, providing enhanced voice pickup from up to 5 meters. Beamforming tech and acoustic AI help isolate speech from noisy backgrounds, with a focus on clarity in group settings or public spaces.
For users who often record in cafes, classrooms or shared offices, this enhanced clarity could make a real difference.
The company claims a 50-hour continuous recording time and up to 75 days of standby from a single charge, a boost from the original’s 30-hour runtime and 60-day standby. Plaud Note Pro is powered by a 500mAh battery and charges via a magnetic charging cable, which is included in the box.
The Note Pro also introduces a 0.95″ AMOLED InstantView display, offering a quick visual layer to the device that was absent in previous models.
Connectivity has been stepped up significantly. The Note Pro includes dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.2MB/s and Bluetooth 5.4, offering faster and more secure file transfers.
For added peace of mind, the Plaud Note Pro also supports Apple Find My, allowing users to track the device’s location through the Apple ecosystem if it’s ever misplaced, a first for Plaud devices and a valuable safeguard for those constantly on the move.
IFA 2025, running from 5–9 September at Messe Berlin, is Europe’s biggest annual consumer technology show. It’s a key date for travel-tech enthusiasts, where brands unveil new gadgets, smart luggage, and connected gear designed to make life on the move easier.
The event welcomes both industry and the public, offering hands-on time with products that could transform your next trip.
Running on the latest version of Plaud Intelligence, the device does more than transcribe. It processes recordings to generate summaries tailored to specific roles, contexts, or decision points. The AI can highlight action items, trace recurring themes across conversations, and even create decision logs.
The new “Ask Plaud” feature adds an interactive element, allowing users to query recordings and receive source-linked answers, making post-meeting analysis faster and more precise.
These upgrades are part of the broader Plaud Intelligence overhaul, which now supports multimodal input across voice, text, images, and in-the-moment highlights, making every meeting easier to understand, summarise, and act on.

In today’s high-pressure environments, losing context is as risky as missing a deadline, Plaud Note Pro, is not just a note taker, it’s a thinking partner that brings structure, clarity and actionability to everyday conversations.
The updated Plaud App 3.0, launching in October, enables the full range of new features. It supports over 2,000 professional templates and transcription in 112 languages, and now allows users to combine voice, text, images, and press-to-highlight input in a single record.
Another practical upgrade is the smart dual-mode recording system. It automatically detects whether you’re on a phone call or speaking in person, removing the need for manual toggling.
