Samsung Unpacked August 2020

On the 5th August Samsung held its first all virtual Unpacked event from Korea, due to the current global COVID pandemic. On the day Samsung announced five new devices all with some impressive specifications, including the new Galaxy Tab S7 & S7+ tablets.

Galaxy Tab S7 Series Overview

The race to deliver a tablet competent enough to replace your notebook is hotting up with the new Galaxy Tab S7 series.

Both 11″ and 12.4″ models have a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and displays capable of supporting up to 120Hz refresh rates

However, it is the inclusion of 5G connectivity that will grab the attention of travellers.

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are two versatile tablets that combine the power of a PC, the flexibility of a tablet, and the connectivity of a smartphone.

Designed for the Future

With the 5G models working, streaming and gaming will all be possible on the move without the need for a WiFi connection. There are LTE and WiFi-only models too.

Regardless of what you plan on using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 & S7+ for the specification list really does suggest it will handle it. Four AKG Speakers are once again included, during this launch, providing an audio experience to match those vibrant displays.

There is support for Second screen to transform the Galaxy Tab into an additional display if you already use a Samsung laptop. And battery life shouldn’t be an issue with an 8,000mAh pack in the S7 and a large 10,090mAh one in the Tab S7+.

This Unpacked event, Samsung has set itself out as an entire eco-system of devices we can use and travel with, seamlessly. The new Galaxy Tab S7 series will be tempting to many thanks to 5G and the power to rival other tablets.
