XPLORA Go Tracker

During #IFA2018 I discovered the XPLORA 3S, a child-friendly smartwatch and safety tracker. I was so impressed with its interface and design, the 3S earned itself a spot on the 2019 {Tech} for Travel Best Travel Gadget Guide!

In the lead up to Mobile World Congress back in February, XPLORA announced their latest product which is due to go on sale during April 2019, the Go!

Features

XPLORA have been very clever here! Rather than an all-new device, they’ve taken the module out of the 3S smartwatch, carried out some upgrades and finished it off with a very attractive starting price!

The expectation for the Go is that you the user, decide how you want to use the device and XPLORA will sell various bundled accessories to help you do so. They have 5 focus areas; the elderly, pets, bikes, children and assets.

For travel purposes, the travel and children bundles both draw my attention. There is a good selection of luggage trackers currently on the market, but how many of them double up as a smartwatch for your kids whilst abroad or make and receive calls?

The Go module is feature packed with GPS Tracking, WiFi and Cell connectivity, a G-sensor and an SOS button. There will be preset software options on the unit to further tailor the user experience for whichever purpose you decide to use it for.

Then you purchase the bundle which best suits your need to get the best out of the Go. For example the childrens bundle includes watch straps and the asset, or luggage tracking, bundle has a tag type housing.

Along with the new tracker, XPLORA has also confirmed the launch will be accompanied by a new XPLORA App. The App will be a free download on both Android and Apple stores.

Specifications

I really am excited to see how people take to and use, the Go. The 3S is a great user-friendly tracker and the XPLORA range continues to grow!

How Much does the XPLORA Go Cost?
