FlipGo Horizon Dual Monitor
It’s a fact that the COVID years made some of us, myself included, less productive when travelling as we were forced to work from home, which slowly resulted in us getting used to the comfort of that second display.
And to think back in 2012, I needed little more than my trusty Blackberry Bold 9900 to complete almost everything while I was on the road!
JSAUX has just lifted the lid on the new FlipGo Horizon Portable Monitor at CES 2025, and it’s already turning heads, pun intended. Building on the success of its award-winning FlipGo range, this new model brings something different to the world of portable monitors — screen rotation.
Features FlipGo Horizon Dual Monitor
The new FlipGo Horizon portable monitor is compatible with laptops from 13″ to 16″. Its clever, foldable design delivers a true plug-and-play setup.
Switching between landscape and portrait modes will appeal to those who work in either medium or switch between them. If you’ve ever tried to work with a vertical document on a horizontal screen, you’ll know how much of a hassle that can be.
JSAUX says it takes seconds to swivel either or both monitors, with no clicks or clunky adjustments needed. This means you can view an entire document on one screen while keeping your notes open on another. Single-screen or dual-screen setups are also possible, giving you flexibility on the go.
FlipGo Horizon connects via USB-C and is ready to use straight out of the box on macOS, Windows, and Linux machines.
With all portable monitors, one of the most significant factors is the portability and weight. A product aimed at people on the move must tick both boxes.
The FlipGo Horizon folds flat like a laptop, so it slots neatly into your bag or carry-on. It’s small enough to travel with but big enough to feel like a proper workstation when you set it up.
However, the dimensions and final product weight were not confirmed when this was published.
Previous JSAUX models used clip-on mounts, but the Horizon now features built-in magnets on both sides. This makes attaching extra devices far more effortless. The magnets let you snap on extra screens, tablets, or even your phone. It’s an upgrade on the earlier FlipGo, which had some attachment limitations.
Price & Availability FlipGo Horizon Dual Monitor
The JSAUX FlipGo Horizon Dual Monitor will launch on Kickstarter in Q1 2025, following the model of its predecessor, which raised over $1,000,000. If past campaigns are any indication, expect early-bird deals and backer exclusives.
