Delta CES Keynote

We are just over two months away from the tech world’s biggest event, and already, the Delta CES Keynote has taken the spotlight with the promise of a groundbreaking event to be held at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

CES is the premier global event for the tech industry, where innovators and industry leaders converge to unveil the future of consumer technology. Hosted annually in Las Vegas, CES draws an audience of over 115,000 attendees from across 140 countries, all eager to explore cutting-edge developments.

Known for blending cutting-edge technology with a commitment to enhanced passenger experiences, Delta’s keynote at CES 2025 will mark a historic move for the airline and CES, as it will be the first-ever keynote held at Sphere. Positioned as a leading voice in travel technology, Delta’s upcoming keynote promises to amplify its track record of innovation previously showcased through CES debuts like the Parallel Reality experience.

Back in 2020, Delta was the first airline to deliver a CES keynote, introducing tech that travellers hadn’t imagined, like Parallel Reality displays—a revolutionary concept allowing up to 100 travellers to view personalised information from a single digital screen. Since then, the airline has integrated this tech into Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

I was lucky enough to be one of the journalists to try out Parrall Reality displays with Delta, and now, five years on, it remains one of my CES highlights in recent years.

Delta’s venue choice couldn’t be more fitting. The Sphere’s unique design offers an audio-visual experience unlike any other. This space is designed for high-impact presentations, with a 160,000-square-foot LED display wrapping around its interior. For Delta, the immersive environment of Sphere represents a chance to showcase its tech-driven ambitions in a setting that matches its forward-looking narrative.

I expect this keynote to be as much about creating an experience as it is about the information presented. Having such a vast and unique stage for a CES first needs to be backed up with some big news.

The airline’s choice to host at Sphere signals its commitment to keeping the customer experience at the heart of its innovations. Just as the Parallel Reality display offered a personal touch, the upcoming keynote could reveal even more personalisation technologies designed to reduce travel stress and simplify complex journeys. Each advancement Delta brings to CES reinforces its vision of a tech-enabled, passenger-focused future.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian will host the Dekta CES Keynote.

We’re on the brink of a new era, and I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate how the Delta team will leverage cutting-edge advancements to propel our next century of flight.
