Globe-Trotter Elephant Family Collection
Globe-Trotter has introduced the Elephant Family Collection, a four-piece special edition capsule designed in collaboration with the conservation charity Elephant Family.
Partnering with the international NGO Elephant Family to create this special edition luggage collection, Globe-Trotter aims to support wildlife conservation efforts in Asia. This collaboration honours Globe-Trotter’s historical mascot, Elephant John, and contributes directly to protecting endangered Asian elephants and their habitats.
A portion of the proceeds from each sale goes to Elephant Family’s initiatives aimed at fostering human-wildlife coexistence and preserving biodiversity. The collection features bespoke artwork by Rebecca Campbell, symbolising the shared journey towards conservation.
Features Globe-Trotter Elephant Collection
The Elephant Family 2-Wheel Carry-On case has a 34L capacity and weighs 4.2kg. Its exterior shell is made from vulcanised fibreboard, a lightweight yet impact-resistant material exclusive to Globe-Trotter. It has corner reinforcements and twin leather retaining straps in Kerry Green.
A chrome combination lock secures the case, and a telescopic aluminium handle sits flush when unused. The two-wheel system features fixed, wide-profile castors integrated into leather housings for improved ground clearance.
The Elephant Family 4-Wheel Carry-On shares similar dimensions but boasts a larger 40L capacity and trades dual fixed wheels for four 360° rotating spinner wheels.
Both include a retractable double-pole handle. The two-wheeled model houses the poles on the case’s exterior, while the slightly larger four-wheel model stores them internally.
Internally, the cases are lined in Globe-Trotter’s classic cotton lining, with leather buckle straps and chrome trim for added structure. A leather patch inside confirms the special edition drop and bears a printed lining with “The Parade.”
This original artwork by Rebecca Campbell depicts elephants in motion, a nod to the Elephant Family’s conservation work in Asia.
Founded in 2003 by a group of conservationists including the late Mark Shand, Elephant Family was born out of a mission to protect Asia’s endangered wildlife. At its heart lies the Asian elephant, an animal that has long been both symbolic and central to the charity’s work. From restoring fractured forest corridors to promoting human-wildlife coexistence, Elephant Family takes a holistic, thoughtful approach to conservation, recognising that saving a species requires safeguarding the broader ecosystem too.

The third case in this special collection is the Large Check-In. With two wheels and a 73L capacity, this is the largest of the three cases and weighs 6kg. Like its smaller counterparts, it’s constructed from Olive Grey vulcanised fibreboard with hand-finished Kerry Green leather corners and dual leather strap closures.
The case includes dual leather handles, an extendable telescopic trolley handle, and two large fixed wheels housed in protective leather arches.
Completing this special edition are two Elephant Family Luggage Tags crafted from leather with polished chrome hardware.
