Globe-Trotter Palm Springs Collection
For its latest collection, Globe-Trotter has taken inspiration from Palm Springs in California, a city famous for, amongst other things, its Mid-century modern architecture. Particularly the style that became popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
The collection, a collaboration between Globe-Trotter and Visit Greater Palm Springs, comprises three pieces of luggage and accessories.
Each of the three cases mirrors the standard Globe-Trotter specifications for the Carry-On, the Check-In and the Small Attaché but are styled in a unique colour scheme and finished with small details that give the nod to the city they’ve been inspired by.
Visit Greater Palm Springs has partnered with luxury British luggage brand Globe-Trotter for the release of its very first destination-inspired line. Referencing the color palette of the Palm Springs desert and aesthetics of the city’s renowned midcentury modern design, Globe-Trotter has created a capsule range of popular luggage styles and accessories that pay homage to the region.
Visit Greater Palm Springs
All three handmade cases are crafted from Vulcanised fibreboard finished in an Ivory colourway and complimented with contrasting Cobalt Blue leather corner protectors and straps.
To complete the styling, all three have a “sun-kissed warm yellow” leather carry handle on their side, while the Check-In and Carry-On have additional top-mounted Cobalt Blue leather carry handles and a telescopic handle for manoeuvring.
Inside, the cases have an Olive Green cotton lining with a starburst pattern resembling the iconic sputnik chandeliers of the era Globe-Trotter pays homage to with this collection.
Both larger pieces have webbing straps, and all three are finished with a brass metal plaque containing the serial number of each item.

Prices start from $95/£55 for the leather sticker and go up to $3,095/£2,295 for the Large Check-In. The four-wheel Carry-On is priced at $2,295/£1,695.
