We’ve already been treated to the New Summer ’22 Technicolor Options, and now F.A.R or ‘For All Routes’ takes Away to places its iconic cases have trouble going to… outside the terminal!
And what a collection they’ve produced.
At the top end is a new convertible backpack which boasts more storage capacity than the Carry-On case, three different sizes of very competitively priced Duffle bags and a selection of smaller accessory pouches & packing cubes.
The entire new collection is made for outdoor travel. It’s been constructed from water and abrasion-resistant materials to stand up to challenging environments and keep your belongings safe and dry.
Away F.A.R Convertible Backpack
This new 45L capacity convertible backpack can not only hold the same as most carry-on cases but will transform from a backpack to a duffle side carry bag in an instant. Coming in three colourways; Black, Green and Vivid Blue, the F.A.R convertible backpack boasts all the features you could want for maximum storage and comfort in carrying.
The backpack opens in a clamshell style to reveal a single ample open space for your belongings with just a single pocket for smaller items. Away says, “this 45L Convertible Backpack holds a carry-on suitcase worth of essentials for up to a five-day excursion“. There’s a single compression strap running from top to bottom and two quick-access pockets in the top cover lining.
On the outside, the padded shoulder straps, which can be stowed away to create duffle mode, are completed by a chest strap that will make the Away F.A.R backpack easier to use when you’re making the most of all that storage. There is a single hidden exterior pocket for smaller valuable items.
As we live in a digital era, Away has seen fit to include a padded 15″ laptop compartment at the back of the pack, not inside the main area and finally, a luggage strap so the F.A.R. Away backpack can securely sit on top of a carry-on case.

Away F.A.R Duffle Bags
Away now offers Duffles to suit any occasion with the new F.A.R range bringing three new sizes, a 40L, a 55L and 70L capacity, alongside the current Everywhere line (20L, 28L & 38L).
Boasting eco-friendly credentials, the new duffles have been made from recycled materials and come in four colours; Black, Vivid Blue, Green and eye-catching Atomic Celery. The larger 55L and 70L bags have additional colourways, including Red/Orange, Navy and White.
Depending on your size, the new Duffles can hold enough items from a 3-day to 2-week trip as the main compartment is open, with just a small side pouch inside and is completed with a compression strap.
Externally, a luggage strap is provided to sit the duffle on a carry-on handle and in between the padded handles is a concealed pocket for smaller valuable items.
Accessories
To accompany the new collection Away has included four matching accessories.
A water-resistant pouch that comes as Small, Medium or Large can match any of the seven available colours for the main bags. The pouch also has a clip to be attached to the larger bags.
The 45L Tote is a fold flat and pack option to take with you in larger bags and can be used when you only need a smaller carrying option. At just 800g, it is lightweight, has a luggage strap and meets most airline carry-on rules for size.
Finally, the collection is completed by a selection of packing cubes that come in Small, Medium, Large or XL and a functional cross-body 16L Messenger bag.
