Anker Prime Series

Anker, widely recognised as a global leader in mobile charging, has announced its new Anker Prime series.

The company says the lineup delivers faster, smarter and safer power across portable and desktop devices. Designed for travellers, content creators and remote professionals, the Prime range focuses on higher output and better efficiency in smaller, lighter units.

From the lineup, two of the four new devices are noteworthy for tech-savvy travellers: the Prime 26K Power Bank and the Prime 160W Charger. Both are promising to bring high-performance charging to those who carry multiple devices when they travel.

26K Power Bank Anker Prime Series

The Anker Prime 26K Power Bank has been designed to deliver the most power Anker has ever packed into a travel-friendly battery. With a total output of up to 300 watts, it can charge two laptops and a smartphone simultaneously. Despite holding a 26,250mAh capacity, the company says it is 17 per cent smaller and 10 per cent lighter than the its last gen charger.

It also comes in just under the 27,000mAh airline carry-on limit, making it appealing to anyone flying with a full tech setup.

Anker’s major selling point for its new power bank is its recharging speed. Using a new dual-input system, the Power Bank reaches 50 per cent in about 13 minutes and 80 per cent in under 40 minutes, based on Anker’s in-house testing.

The Power Bank runs on Anker’s latest GaNPrime 2.0 and PowerIQ 5.0 technologies. These adjust output automatically depending on what’s connected, ensuring faster charging without wasting energy. It also includes the new ActiveShield 5.0 protection system, which monitors temperature and voltage in real time.

Anker says this combination gives users safer and more efficient charging for laptops, tablets and phones while keeping the design compact and easy to carry.

The Power Bank also includes a built-in Smart Display that shows real-time charging data, battery status and remaining power. Through the Anker app, users can monitor performance and manage power modes directly from their phone.

160W Charger Anker Prime Series

The Anker Prime 160W Charger is a compact, multi-port wall charger that delivers laptop-level performance in a travel-friendly design. According to Anker, it is the world’s most compact 160-watt charger and has twice the power density of the previous 140W version.

There are three USB-C ports, each supporting fast charging, with a combined total of 160W output. In practice, that means it can power a 16-inch MacBook Pro, an iPhone 16 Pro Max and an 11-inch iPad Pro at the same time.

When all three ports are in use, the charger can deliver up to 140W through one USB-C1 and 35W from each of USB-C2 and C3, matching the output of three individual chargers in one device. It’s designed for travellers who carry multiple chargers and cables, looking for a single, high-power alternative that fits in one hand.

Like the Power Bank, this charger also uses Anker’s PowerIQ 5.0 system, which manages how power is shared between devices. The charger adjusts automatically depending on what’s plugged in, keeping charge speeds consistent. Inside, GaNPrime 2.0 components enhance thermal performance, enabling a smaller design that remains cool even at high output.

A built-in Smart Display provides live charging information. It shows output data for each connected device and can be customised through the Anker app, which also allows firmware updates when new features become available.

Sadly, the power prongs are not swappable, although does boast foldable prongs. At launch, the Prime 160W Charger will come in AU, EU, UK and US configurations.

Completing the Series

Alongside the Power Bank and Charger, Anker has added two more products to the Prime range. The Prime 3-in-1 Charging Station and the Prime DL7400 Docking Station, which is a 14-in-1 hub, are both desktop devices.

The MagGo station on the DL7400 Dock is the world’s first Qi2 25W wireless charger with active cooling and a built-in display. It can charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 50 per cent in around 22 minutes while keeping temperatures under control through its AirCool system.

Anker said the Prime range was created to remove common frustrations around powering personal tech, combining higher speed and safety with a more compact form factor. Together, the four products demonstrate Anker’s expansion beyond standalone chargers into a connected ecosystem capable of handling everything from phones to complete workstation setups.
