BentoStack PowerHub Case
Function 101, the brand behind the original BentoStack is back with its latest solution for all those Apple accessories, the PowerHub Case.
Last year, the team indicated some of the new features they had coming up, but from these press images, they have so far exceeded my expectations.
The original was a stylish and practical case to store your Apple kit. Then followed the Charge, a power bank top cover to fit on the case.
Now the PowerHub builds on the success of both with even more new features and an enhanced battery pack.
Features
The PowerHub continues the evolution of the BentoStack Ecosystem with a hub layer that expands Apple users port options with a selection of 8 more.
The world’s first all-in-one Type-C Hub, Accessory Organizer, Power Bank and Wireless Charger all layered together in an ultra-compact case that’s optimized for the workspace and ready to take on the go.

All the Ports You Need
Apple laptops come with up to 4 Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports only and the newer iPad Pro models just have the one.
BentoStack now expands these with an HDMI port, 2 x USB-A, 2 x USB-C, an audio jack and some memory card slots.

All of which takes up just one of the Thunderbolt ports on the laptop with no need for an external power supply.
And as the PowerHub is just one part of the BentoStack system it plays its role as a storage solution as well. The top surface is magnetic to hold a 2nd Gen Apple Pencil in place and has raised edges so it can act as a storage tray.
A Powerful Top Cover
Previously, the BentoStack Charge Cover only shipped to North America. Now, it is available to many more markets as part of the PowerHub configuration, and has even had a welcome boost!
The 5,000mAh unit has been upgraded to an 8,000mAh battery pack inside the lid. What’s more, it has 3 Power Delivery methods.
Not only can it charge devices over USB-A and USB-C ports but the surface is a QI Wireless charger.
On the edge of the Charge Cover is a 5 LED light array to indicate how much power remains in the battery.
At the core of the BentoStack ecosystem is the case.
As Apple accessories do vary by size in different markets, BentoStack offers a deeper XL case that works with the PowerHub for Euro power packs (this needs to be purchased separately).
Adjustable Storage
The case forms the bottom half of any BentoStack configuration and is designed to house the power plug and any other bulkier accessory you may have.

Inside are 2 adjustable sliders to form compartments. Each section has enough space for an AirPod case or a Magic Mouse alongside the charger.
Finally, the case is finished with a silicone band that keeps the segments, and your accessories, all held together.

Although you could use BentoStack PowerHub for any other USB-C device it has been designed to complement Apple devices.
And it does it effortlessly! The perfect companion for any MacBook Pro or iPad Pro power users.
