Heybike X Series

Heybike is bringing its X Series to CES 2026, following its August 2025 launch.

The range starts with two flagship folding ebikes: the Mars 3.0 and the Ranger 3.0 Pro. The simple split is this: Mars 3.0 is specced for higher torque and peak power, while Ranger 3.0 Pro is the range-led option with a 720Wh removable battery claiming up to 90 miles.

Heybike positions the series around its Galaxy Perform eDrive System, a more connected control setup via the Heybike App, and convenience features aimed at day-to-day riding as much as weekend detours.

Key Features
  • Galaxy Perform eDrive System with a 750W motor; Mars 3.0 claims 95 N•m torque and up to 1400W peak, while Ranger 3.0 Pro claims 80 N•m and up to 1200W peak.
  • Ranger 3.0 Pro claims up to 90 miles range from a 720Wh removable battery.
  • Full suspension across both models: front hydraulic suspension fork; Mars 3.0 rear Horst-link suspension; Ranger 3.0 Pro rear adjustable air shock.
  • Smart access plus TFT display: start via NFC card, PIN on the display, or Heybike App, with ride data shown on the TFT screen.
  • Shimano Altus 8-Speed drivetrain, torque sensor with direct power transfer tech, and IP65-rated water resistant electronics components.

Mars 3.0 is the speed-and-performance Heybike for the X Series and uses the Galaxy Perform eDrive System with a 750W motor delivering 95 N•m of torque, with peak output up to 1400W when needed.

The brand claims 0–20 mph takes 6 seconds with the Mars 3.0, reaching a top speed of 28 mph. However, riders can use the Heybike App to convert the bike’s configuration from Class 2 to Class 3, and the display can then optimise it for speeds over 28 mph.

For ride feel, Hyebike says the Mars 3.0 has full suspension, combining a front hydraulic suspension fork with rear Horst-link suspension, working with a torque sensor for comfort across terrain. Braking comes in the form of an upgraded hydraulic disc brake system and an improved 2mm thick rotor, which Heybike frames as delivering rapid, reliable stopping power.

Ranger 3.0 Pro

Ranger 3.0 Pro is the comfort-and-endurance option, described as the flagship step-through model in the X Series. It also boasts a full-suspension setup, including a front hydraulic fork and an adjustable air shock at the rear. To further improve the ride comfort, Ranger 3.0 Pro comes with premium Kenda fat tyres and a torque sensor as part of the control package, particularly for rougher surfaces.

Heybike says the frame uses advanced hydroformed frame technology, with the stated goals of enhanced strength and improved aerodynamics. On the power side, Ranger 3.0 Pro is also described as using the Galaxy Perform eDrive System with a 750W motor, rated at 80 N•m of torque and peaking at 1200W. The brand claims the same 0–20 mph acceleration time of 6 seconds.

The significant number here is the range. Heybike states that the Ranger 3.0 Pro uses a 720Wh removable battery and can reach up to 90 miles before recharging.

X Series Features

Both models share a set of tech and convenience features that make the Heybike X Series feel more like a platform than two one-offs. Heybike says the smart access system lets riders start the ebike using an NFC card, enter a PIN on the display, or unlock it through the Heybike App.

The advanced TFT display is said to show speed, battery level, trip distance, and assist level, with user-friendly controls for monitoring and adjusting settings on the move. For durability, Heybike states the electronics are IP65-rated for water resistance.

On the drivetrain side, both bikes are listed with a Shimano Altus 8-speed professional drivetrain. Heybike describes a “direct power transfer technology” approach in which the torque sensor communicates with the motor to adjust assist based on pedal input and gear selection, aiming to improve efficiency and ride feel.

The Heybike Mars 3.0 is priced at $1,299, the Ranger 3.0 Pro is priced at $1,499, and the Ranger 3.0 Pro Miami Sunset Limited Edition is limited to 200 units and priced at $1,699.
