The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro now comes in a smaller 44mm version, offering a titanium case, AMOLED display, offline maps, HYROX training modes and long battery life.

Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm
Amazfit launched the T-Rex 3 Pro in September as the upgrade to the 2024 T-Rex 3 Smartwatch, positioning it as a tougher, more capable sports watch.
The Pro version introduced a titanium bezel and sapphire glass, raising the build quality well above its predecessor. A built-in flashlight, speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calls, and the new BioChargeâ„¢ Energy Score made it a significant step forward.
Training accuracy also improved thanks to dual-band GPS, six satellite systems, and the upgraded BioTrackerâ„¢ 6.0 sensor. The Pro ships with official HYROX training and race modes built in, along with over 180 sports profiles and offline maps, while still delivering up to 25 days of battery life.
Now, Amazfit has expanded the line with a smaller 44mm T-Rex 3 Pro, joining the original 48mm version.

Features Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm
The new 44mm T-Rex 3 Pro has been introduced as a more compact option for those who found the 48mm version too large on the wrist. This was one of my complaints about the original T-Rex 3, which is now the biggest in the series.
During weight training, I often found the T-Rex 3 pressed against the top of my hand. Now, both versions of the Pro are smaller!
Built with the same Grade 5 titanium case and sapphire glass protection as the 48mm, the 44mm delivers the same rugged build quality in a smaller form factor.
The 1.32-inch AMOLED display maintains the 3,000-nit peak brightness of the larger 1.5-inch model, while the slimmer 13.2mm case makes it easier to wear all day.

Feature parity with the 48mm model is strong. Both support Bluetooth calling, a speaker and microphone for voice alerts, BioChargeâ„¢ energy monitoring, and over 180 workout modes, including official HYROX training and race profiles.
Navigation is also identical, with offline maps for cities, ski resorts, and topographic detail, as well as route planning, POI search, auto rerouting and turn-by-turn guidance.
The main differences are battery life and fit. Battery capacity drops from 700 mAh in the 48mm to 500 mAh in the 44mm, reducing typical life from 25 days down to 17. Accurate GPS mode also shortens from 38 hours on the 48mm to 26 hours here.
Strap compatibility differs too: a 22mm quick-release fitting on the 48mm, compared to a 20mm on the new model.

T-Rex 3 Base model
For those who don’t need the full Pro feature set, the original T-Rex 3, released last year, remains available at $279/£279. It shares the same rugged DNA as the Pro models, with a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, 10 ATM water resistance, and over 170 workout modes, but several specifications set it apart from the newer Pro models.
The T-Rex 3 uses stainless steel for its bezel and Gorilla Glass on the screen, compared with Grade 5 titanium and sapphire glass on the Pro. Peak brightness is capped at 2,000 nits, down from 3,000 on the Pro versions, and it lacks the integrated flashlight and speaker setup.
Bluetooth calling and BioChargeâ„¢ are not supported, and the T-Rex 3 currently runs on Zepp OS 4.5 rather than Zepp OS 5.
Battery life is longer, with up to 27 days in standard use and 42 hours in GPS mode, but it misses out on the newer mapping functions and Pro-level ecosystem support. The T-Rex 3, therefore, remains the entry point into the line, while the T-Rex 3 Pro, available in both 48mm and 44mm sizes, delivers the advanced build, display, and training functions aimed at more demanding athletes.
