Urbanista London True Wireless Earphones
With lockdown restrictions slowly easing around the globe, Urbanista the brand that prides itself on audio products for “Life in Motion” has released its new wireless London Earphones with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC).
Despite having a wide range of in-ear wireless earphones, these are the first from Urbanista with ANC technology. And, if the sneak peek they gave me at CES this year is anything to go by, London will be a hit!
Features
The prototype I tested during CES was very similar in design to the press images supplied here, however with just a few minutes of use on those, I’ve not used them enough yet for a full hands-on review.
One feature that was working though, was the new ANC. And, even in the surroundings of a fairly quiet show suite at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas they did impress me.
Silence the outside world or let the sound in – London is by far the most advanced earphones we’ve ever made.

Active Noise Cancelling Earphones
For the last few months, I’ve increasingly warmed too, and recommended, Urabnista earphones due to mostly to the superior fit and great audio.
But, times change, and to stay at the top end of the market Active Noise Cancelling technology is a must-have feature for many travellers now.
⚬ Review: Urbanista Paris True Wireless Earphones
ANC works by cancelling outside sounds by using a method known as destructive interference. This provides the listener with a clearer sound and no external noises.
If, however, you need to be a bit more aware of your surroundings the London Earphones can be switched over to Ambient Mode.
Alternatively, just remove one earbud and your music will automatically pause until you put it back in.
Audio & Conrtrols
Whether its a speaker, earphones or headphones, Urbanista always seems to get it right and with London now being its flagship earphones they’ll need to perform.
Inside are 10mm driver units with a standard frequency range of 20Hz-20KHz.
As with other models of earphones this size, there are no physical buttons, and instead, both buds are touch-sensitive.
If you struggle to remember all the different tap combinations the Urbanista London Earphones can be controlled by voice commands, as support for both Google and Siri come as standard.
A Full Day of Power
Along with the new ANC technology, Urbanista has boosted the battery power in the London Earphones carry case. Previously, the Paris earphones, which are the precursor to London, delivered around 20 hours of playback.
⚬ Review: Urbanista Brisbane Wireless Speaker
London ups this to 25 hours of playback! After a full charge, the Earphones can hold a 5-hour charge and the case contains a 4,00mAh battery pack for an additional 20 hours.
And when it’s time to charge the Earphones up you can either use Wireless charging (QI pad sold separately) or via the supplied USB-C cable.
Specifications
Urbanista has packed all the technology in London you would expect from a premium, or flagship, pair of earphones. And, its done this whilst maintaining a very attractive price tag.
In some cases, the London Earphones are up to $100 less than other buds around the same spec level!

Useless to me. I need ANC for overnight flights. 5 hours’ battery life is half what I need.
The case has another 20 hours, totalling 25hrs but you’d not want to stop and recharge, I agree. Which wireless ANC earphones get you through a full overnight flight without interruption?
can i keep one earbud(right ) in the case and use the left earbud to make a call ??
