Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung has updated its S25 lineup with the arrival of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Following the initial release of the base S25 and the S25 Ultra, the Edge model adds a slimline variant that promises not to compromise performance.

Instead of being a cut-down alternative, the S25 Edge introduces Samsung’s slimmest-ever Galaxy flagship at just 5.8mm thick.

That’s nearly 20% thinner than the already streamlined standard model and lighter, too, at only 163g. But it’s not just about looks, Samsung says every element of the Edge is geared for speed, efficiency, and advanced on-device AI.

Features Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

The device features a 6.7″ dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling experiences. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, enhancing durability while maintaining clarity.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, a 3nm processor custom-designed for Galaxy smartphones. This chipset will enable on-device AI capabilities and support advanced features like ray tracing and Vulkan optimisation for an improved gaming experience.

The camera system comprises a 200mp wide-angle main sensor and a 12mp ultra-wide lens, allowing for high-resolution photography and expansive shots. The front-facing camera is a 12mp lens, suitable for selfies and video calls.

Galaxy S25 Edge redefines smartphone design, with no compromise on performance. It’s our slimmest S Series device yet, created with style and strength in mind. Featuring an iconic Galaxy AI-enabled camera, it opens up a world of creativity in a light, elegant form factor for customers wanting stylish design and the best features Galaxy has to offer,

Not surprisingly, the S25 Edge’s battery is 3,900mAh, smaller than the other three handsets in the Galaxy S25 series. However, it will support 25w wired and 15w wireless charging.

While this capacity is smaller than that of other models in the series, Samsung claims it can provide up to 24 hours of video playback.

The device runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 and is promised to receive seven years of software updates, ensuring longevity and security.
