Urbanista Copenhagen Earbuds are the latest edition to the Swedish lifestyle brands product catalogue, with four colourways available to suit any taste and boasting many must-have features travellers require for a pair of earbuds.

Following the massive success of its market-first solar-powered Los Angeles headphones and Phoenix buds, Urbanista has returned to normal battery and USB-C charged technology for its newest earbuds, Copenhagen.

These new True Wireless earbuds have been created for “life in motion” but don’t come with Active Noise Cancelling. However, this shouldn’t be a hard stop for some.

The Urbanista sound quality is one of, if not the best, in this price range and with a small form factor yet, long battery life, the Copenhagen Earbuds may attract the more casual users.

As there’s no ANC technology the Copenhagen earbuds will heavily be relying on Urbanistas signature sound for quality audio performance, with style and duration being the main focus on the design.

Each bud will incorporate a 12mm dynamic driver and make use of noise-reducing microphones to deliver a clear, loud sound.

There is good news for users who demand the best from their earbuds though, Copenhagen is supported by Urbanistas new smartphone app (Android/Apple). The app will allow users to customise their listening experience, configure the touch controls and adjust the EQ settings.

Battery capacity inside the earbuds, or charging case, has not been confirmed yet, but Urbanista states the Copenhagen buds will deliver 8-hours of playback from a full charge.

Then, the charging case has an additional 3 full charges in reserve giving the new Copenhagen earbuds a total of 32-hours of performance. This is on-par with most other earbuds at the price range, and even some of the higher end options. Users can monitor battery performance from within the app, too.

The Urbanista Copenhagen earbuds are a truly beautiful product inspired by Scandinavian design. They are one of the most stylish earbuds we have launched, with elegant seasonal colours, the Urbanista Copenhagen product is as much a fashion accessory as it is a fantastic audio product.

Copenhagen will come in four colour choices; Midnight Black, Pure White, Sage Green and Dusty Pink which Urbanista says are a nod to “effortless Scandi chic”.

Sneak Peak

During #IFA2022 back in September, I met with Urbanista who showed off its new Copenhagen buds. As they were a demo unit, I didn’t get to test out the audio performance, but can comment on the build quality.

At the time of launch the weight and dimensions are still to be confirmed, however they were incredibly light when I held them and the finish of the plastic casing was smooth and didn’t retain fingerprint marks.

Urbanista has given the Copenhagen earbuds an IPX4 waterproof rating which means they are good to use outdoors during light rain or suitable for at the gym whilst sweating.

Finally, these new buds have Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity which helps with the battery performance without sacrificing on audio transmission.
