Zendure SuperTank
During #CES2019, I spent some time with a very friendly team at Zendure. We had a great discussion about their current product range and soon to be released products.
This week, after a last-minute name change from A8PD Pro, Zendure launched the SuperTank! A name, much more suited to, possibly, the most versatile and powerful power pack on the market today.
Features
At 480g and 1.6″ thick, some might consider the SuperTank a bit to bulky for travel. They would also be wrong! Admittedly, it was my own initial fear before handling the prototype last month, but once I’d got a hold of it and understood what can be delivered, I soon changed my mind.
Power packs generally follow this rule; the more capacity you want, the bigger the unit. But, Zendure, helped by their iconic styling, have managed to keep the SuperTank dimensions to a respectable size.
The 27,000mAh Lithium-ion power cells inside, when fully charged, can deliver a serious amount of charges per device and even power a 15″ notebook for a full 8 hours!
But these numbers are only half of what makes the Zendure SuperTank a truly versatile power pack!
Charge Just About Anything
It has four USB charge ports, two of which are USB-C! And, with most new devices adopting this connector type, this future proofs the SuperTank.
Should you need to charge multiple devices, the SuperTank can provide power to all 4 ports simultaneously. That’s a combined power output of 138w!
There is only one button on the SuperTank which provides multiple uses. A single push will show the remaining charge on the small digital display, a long press moves the unit into Power Direction mode, and a double-tap enters the SuperTank into Low Power Mode!
Low Power Mode allows this beast of a charger to go from a 15″ Notebook charging down to just a smartwatch or earbuds; devices that don’t call for a lot of power, and something many other portable power packs fail to charge!
However, there is a bit of a catch! To charge such a unit as the SuperTank means you need a wall-charger that can not only deliver 100w of USB-C charge but also a cable that can carry it! So to achieve the 1-hour charge time Zendure are quoting, they are launching a charger (sold separately) alongside the SuperTank. The SuperPort 4.
With 100W maximum USB-C Power Delivery, SuperTank can be recharged in just one hour. This also means it can charge the latest USB-C devices at top speed, including MacBook Pro, MacBook, iPad Pro, iPhone XS, Nintendo Switch and more. ~ Zendure.

This is so useful advanced technology gadgets.
I don’t travel often, but, when I do, finding charging is always a hassle. I think that this would be very useful despite the size.
Up to a week of power packed into you luggage!
I would definitely use this, & the size is an expect-able size in my opinion. I’d actually purchase it now if I could. This would be the perfect Valentine’s Day gift!
I agree, it would make a great gift for any frequent traveller!
This looks like a great product I would have never known about if I didnt read this!
This is amazing. It would be super useful for me
If I traveled more, I would definitely look into purchasing this.
I like how heavy duty it looks! I could 100% use one of these.
thannks for this sharing, very useful power bank, however the size a bit bulky to carry around. cheers, siennylovesdrawing
Nice review. I’ll have to dig into it further.
This looks interesting, I have been searching for some kind of power bank, simply for my mobile phone and for laptops, especially if I am at college and don’t really want to pull all the cords out to just plug in my laptop to do some work, sure the size is bulky but still, with how much things it can charge I am amazed it isn’t bigger :O
I agree, it’s a great size for the amount of charge it delivers!
I have a basic power bank but this would be helpful if I was to go abroad. Thanks!
Four USB ports is so cool because we never have enough of them! Thanks for this post!
This sounds super powerful and useful. I gotta get one of these. I’m a power washer.
