For a more modern use, the unit features Bluetooth 5.0, enabling wireless audio streaming from smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices. Additionally, a 3.5mm AUX input provides an option for wired connections to external audio sources, enhancing its versatility.

Powering the Landbeach is a substantial 10,000mAh lithium-ion battery, delivering up to 28 hours of continuous audio playback on a single charge. Recharging the unit takes approximately five to six hours via its USB Type-C port, with the added convenience of being able to charge while in use or when powered off.

Hands On Majority Landbeach Review

With an upcoming camping trip rapidly approaching, it proved an ideal testing ground for the Majority Landbeach review. And, I’m pleased to say it quickly became the undisputed audio centrepiece.

Unlike the smaller, more discreet Bluetooth speakers I often review, this DAB Radio and Bluetooth speaker isn’t designed to disappear into your backpack. Instead, it’s built to survive outdoors, in all conditions, delivering a sound that effortlessly filled our outdoor space, even against the ambient noise of a campsite.

From the moment I switched it on, the DAB+ reception was crystal clear, and FM performance was equally strong. With 40 presets, I could jump between my favourite stations without fiddling with tuning, which is perfect when you’ve got your hands full.

Sound

For sound, the Landbeach surprised me with its punch. It’s not audiophile-grade, far from it, but for a rugged portable DAB+ speaker built to survive the elements at a festival or camping trip, it delivers well-balanced audio that’s more than loud enough.

Unlike stereo speakers that use two drivers to create left and right channels, the Landbeach’s single 30W mono driver pushes all the sound through one speaker, prioritising volume and clarity over directional separation.

Bluetooth 5.0 is relatively old in technology terms, but streamed well from both my phone and iPad Mini. There is no companion app from Majority, but pairing is straightforward using the settings on your device.

The 28-hour battery life is a huge selling point of this DAB/Bluetooth Speaker, as it lasted the whole weekend and kept my phone topped up. Having the ability to double as a power bank means fewer gadgets to pack; the Landbeach takes around five hours via USB-C to fully charge.

However, there is an elephant in the room that needs to be addressed. The styling.

Build & Design

I’m sure many regular readers will have seen the feature image and scrolled on past, as the Landbeach isn’t the sexiest of portable speakers I’ve had the pleasure of covering over the years.

But it is for that very reason that it should be considered for your next outdoor gathering, RV road trip or campsite.

Yes, it gives off construction site builders radio vibes, but it is built to last and perform, and during the review period, it gave me confidence it’ll last.

This water-resistant Bluetooth radio is ideal for anyone needing a travel-friendly speaker. The Landbeach hits the sweet spot between ruggedness, battery life, and genuinely useful features.

Final Thoughts Majority Landbeach Review

During the trip, the Landbeach performed admirably. Its primary use was streaming music via Bluetooth, and as a speaker during some Netflix downtime. The DAB radio was a nice-to-have, providing a connection to the outside world while camping.

The sound was consistently loud and remarkably well-controlled, maintaining clarity even at higher volumes, a crucial factor for me when enjoying music outdoors. Power management performed well, as the substantial battery not only kept the music flowing for the entire weekend but also became an essential power hub.

While it’s surprisingly lighter than its appearance suggests, it’s certainly not a “backpack-friendly” device like many compact Bluetooth speakers I review, some of which are even pocket-sized. The Landbeach requires conscious carrying, which is a trade-off for its impressive audio output and extended utility.

Overall, despite its bulkier form factor and straightforward aesthetics, the Majority Landbeach’s audio performance, exceptional battery life, and device charging capability solidify its position as a highly worthy companion for any summer outdoor activity.
