This week an idiot tried, and failed, to ruin the lives of Londoners.
This is where I was born, raised, and now live and work. So, rather than a reader or blogger photo from some exotic part of the world this week, I would like to share with you the above photo.
I took it myself in November last year. I chose to walk along the Southbank instead of the back streets to my Tube station. The light pollution was bouncing of the low clouds above and lit the night sky. I’d not long got my hands on the iPhone7 plus and was aching to test the cameras night capture capabilities!
On Wednesday this backdrop told a very different story. I will use my corner of the internet to send my thoughts to the families who lost loved ones. To the Police and first responders who ran towards the unknown dangers, Thank you.

This Smart watch may not be directly associated with Travel Tech as such but can help keep your children stick to a routine from home during that family vacation. Whether it is a more relaxed approach or gentle reminders of daily activities, it is very much worth a preview….. Read More.
Sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning the Apple Store went offline for some “routine maintenance” as they call it. Everyone else refers to it as “New Products”. Regrettably, I was late to the RIUT brand after it’s Kickstarter campaign in 2014, which saw over 1000 backers bring the first of their Backpacks to fruition. RIUT which stands for “Revolution In User Thinking” lives up to the name, as owners of the packs are surveyed on the good and bad points, and the feedback helps shape the next release….. Read More.
This year, why not ditch the flowers, chocolate and mildly humorous cards and instead treat your mum to something a bit special….. Read More.
Blogger Request:
Once a month I like to run an article from a guest blogger who will share their top 5 items for travel (more if you wish). Within the 5 needs to be at least 1 gadget, 1 app and 1 item of luggage along with a short intro on you and the type of traveller you are. I will then publish the post on my site and Social media outlets. All of which will link back to you and your profile/s.
If you are interested please get in touch using the comments or email tom@techfortravel.co.uk.
