I’m a bit late to this one but, better late than never. The team behind App in the Air has made the premium version free to try until 30th April 2020.

I know many travellers are grounded at present and the world is in a very fragile place, but the hope is we will return to some type of normal very soon.

So while we wait (and hope) why not try out some of the features that saw App in the Air named Best Travel Assistant App in the {Tech} for Travel Best Travel gadgets for 2020.

Best Travel Assistant App 2020

In the free basic level, App in the Air (AITA) is a powerful tool for frequent travellers irrespective of which airline or loyalty program you might use. AITA scans your inbox and calendar for travel bookings and centralises them in one place.

There is even an element of gamification and making travel more enjoyable by collecting virtual badges for flying on certain aircraft types and visiting new countries.

For the serious travellers, you can compare your miles flown with colleagues, friends and family with the Flight Stats leaderboard.

App in the Air Premium Features

With a Premium account, you will receive additional features such as Text message alerts for when you are offline and automatic family notifications when your travel plans change.

A very handy premium feature for very frequent fliers is the Auto Check-In. Inform the app of your seating preferences and let AITA check you in when it opens and send you the boarding pass.

In fact, the biggest issue with App in the Air is that it makes you want to travel even more!
