If you missed out on some of the excellent travel gadget offers during this year’s Amazon Prime Day event, you’ll be delighted to know the retail giant has confirmed a date for the much-rumoured Prime Early Access Sale.

The annual Amazon Prime Day ran from July 12th-13th, was Amazon’s most successful sales event by numbers, and was an excellent occasion for travellers and travel gadgets.
Some big-ticket discounts were seen on devices, such as 30% off a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, 40% off the brilliant Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, 19% off a 4-pack of Apple AirTags and a staggering 50% off Bose 700 Headphones.
This event, however, is expected to be less of a Prime Day 2.0 and more of a Prime Day 1.5. With the holiday season nearly upon us and the mammoth Black Friday sales due next month, is this Amazon getting ahead of other retailers on some big ticket items, maybe?
Whatever the reason, it should be good news for consumers looking for a discounted deal or stocking up on gifts.
Prime Early Access Sales Where & When
As usual, with any Prime Event, you must be an Amazon Prime subscriber to gain access to these deals. The good news is you won’t need to sign up for the $139/£95 annual fee as Amazon is still offering a 30-day free Prime trial.
The Prime Early Access Sale will run over two days, 11-12th October, but only in the following select countries:
U.K., Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, the U.S., and, for the first time ever, Poland and Sweden.
If you can’t wait until the 11th, Amazon is already confirming some of the discounts we can expect.
