CES 2023 News: AirBolt GPS Tracker

I can’t speak highly enough about the trackers I’ve covered and that have also saved my luggage over the years, whether Bluetooth or GPS.

Even on the way out to CES 2023, AA managed to leave my check-in case at JFK as I cruised down towards LAS. On this occasion, an AirTag ensured I was reunited with my case.

So I was excited to see a new solution hit the market during CES week, the AirBolt GPS.

Features //AirBolt GPS Tracker

The new AirBolt tracker uses LTE-M and NB-IoT connectivity over Bluetooth to offer global tracking in over 50 countries and counting.

GPS trackers generally use satellite signals to determine their location, while Bluetooth trackers rely on a connection to a nearby smartphone, giving them a greater range.

Supported Countries...
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and the USA.

Unlike other GPS trackers (which use replaceable batteries), the AirBolt runs on a built-in and rechargeable battery over USB-C.

So while AirBolt can run an entire year on a single charge, travellers can top it up in between trips.

Along with live tracking, the accompanying app (Android | iOS | Web) brings additional features, such as Geofencing, that will send alerts if the tracker is moved from a pre-defined area.

We design our products with our customers in mind and have created an ecosystem where our products interact with each other to enhance their capabilities.

There’s even a water sensor inside the AirBolt Tracker that will send a notification via the app if it becomes submerged in water. The device is water-resistant up to a depth of 1 meter for no more than 30 minutes.

To communicate with this tracker, a monthly subscription plan is required and is provided by AirBolt. The unit comes with an e-sim and doesn’t allow users to install their own sim card. The three plans are:
