The new RIMOWA Flap Backpack Large has been launched alongside the other daily carry pieces in the Never Still Collection, consisting of Totes, a Briefcase and a Medium Backpack.

If you’re looking for the perfect Backpack to pair with your well-travelled RIMOWA Classic Cabin case, cast an eye over the new Flap Backpack large.
As part of the Never Still collection, this will be the second Flap Backpack Large in the assemblage which, RIMOWA says, has been “designed with flexibility in mind.” The difference is in the primary material used on the Backpack, Nylon.
Previously, the collection only boasted a canvas option.

Although RIMOWA is a German brand, its Never Still Collection of luggage pieces is made in Italy, and this includes the new Flap Backpack Large, which has been constructed from Nylon and completed with rubberized leather accents.
The large ‘Flap’ covers a single top-down opening that can be pulled close with a drawstring. There’s no clamshell or other opening to access the main storage compartment. On either side of the Backpack is an additional zipped pouch for extra storage, or it can be left open to house a drink bottle or umbrella.
At the back are adjustable straps that start at 22 cm long and can be extended to a maximum of 41cm. The back panel is crafted from a mesh fabric, padded and grooved for better airflow to reduce sweat patches and to offer a more comfortable wearing experience for heavier loads. Running across the width of the back panel is a luggage strap to fasten the Backpack to the telescopic handles of a carry-on case.
The Flap is held in place by a black matte bespoke magnetic lock, completed by the RIMOWA logo and brand name, while the base is covered in leather to reinforce the Backpack further.
While offering an unmistakably modern appearance, the piece echoes the historic German maison’s signature design with the light and water-repellent nylon fabric offering a subtle metallic sheen that’s reminiscent of RIMOWA’s iconic aluminium suitcases. The brand’s iconic grooves are also seen on the backpack, this time embroidered on the nylon surface.

Inside is a generous 19L of space along with a flat pouch that can carry a laptop up to 16″ in size. There are three additional internal pockets, one with a zipper to secure smaller items.
The iconic RIMOWA tag at the entrance of the drawstring opening completes the Flap Backpack large.
