Good news for travellers who prefer larger smartphones, as Samsung has just confirmed their next Unpacked event for 2019 and the expected Note 10.

Samsung Unpacked Event Fall 2019

Press invites are now out and confirm the 2019 Fall Unpacked event will be held on Wednesday, August 7th.

Samsung will return to the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY where they launched the previous Note9 handset.

I never like to anticipate new smartphones or upcoming features based on the many internet leaks, but the invite does point to a possible big design change.

Could we be seeing an even bigger Infinity display? The only image shared contains the S Pen tip which points to a new Galaxy Note model and a front facing ‘Selfie’ camera lens.

This could suggest the removal of the camera band from the top and a punch hole selfie cam somewhere to the top of the screen?

We could also see some new wearables, but with #IFA2019 just around the corner, I’m not sure how willing Samsung is to give us too much good news in one go!

Traveller Friendly

Larger sized smartphones offer travellers a bit more flexibility in which device/s they may need with them.

The larger screens are often better for movies, many apps and even some work tasks. With an increase in size, the manufacturers have more room to increase the power, performance and battery life as well.

And, if ‘Phablet’ sized smartphones are not your thing, Unpacked events are always great to watch thanks to Samsungs captivating stage visuals and presentation.
