Riut Bag
Being based in London, and having been fortunate to work in several big cities around the world I’m fully aware of that doubt you get about your backpack being tampered with when on the tube or bus. Well Riut has the answer!
The backwards backpack not only looks great, but has no access from the front. All compartment and pouch entry points are from the back, giving you a stress free commute!
Originally launched on Kickstarter, the Riut Bag was funded mostly by commuters and through each production cycle user feedback is taken to improve or enhance the following backpack. They are very active on social media and go to great lengths to engage with their customers. What’s not to like!
The Riut Backpack starts from £29 and is available from their webstore.
BOSE QC35 Headphones
Public Transport is always noisy so enjoying your music, a podcast or movie may not be to easy! Why not treat yourself or someone you know to the best noise cancelling headphones on the market!
Released back in June, the QC35 are the first wireless and noise cancelling headphones from Bose.
With no cable to get in the way, up to 20 hours of battery life and a great design to allow for hours of comfortable wearing the QC35’s have quickly become the must have pair of headphones for all types of commuters. They will connect to any device with Bluetooth technology and come in black or silver.
You will find them priced at £289 on most sites but are available on Amazon with Prime delivery!
Apple iPad Mini
Getting the right tablet to use for a commute can be tricky, but a smaller sized screen with easy to use and navigate apps & OS would suit even the most cramped of commutes.
The Apple iPad mini range currently gives you plenty of options with both the Mini 2 and 4 models on sale you can also pick up a bargain on the Apple Refurbished site! The 7.9 inch Retina display will give you a clear view of your app, games or movies. For extra, you can opt for a cellular model (although this would incur either a monthly fee or pay as you go cost for the sim)
So now you can take all your favorite books, magazines, music and media with you on every trip!
New models start from £239 on the Apple Store, but is well worth checking out the Refurbished by Apple site which offers up some great deals (it is updated daily!)
Otterbox Cases
It happens to us all at some point, dropping your phone or tablet. That sickening sound as it hits the floor laying there face down waiting for you to pick it and assess the damage and possible shattered screen.
Otterbox provide a range of cases and screen protectors for all major smartphones and the top selling tablets from Apple and Samsung. With a variety of styles, colours and materials there is a case to suit most tastes and with top end devices now reaching £1000 it is worth investing in the best protection for them.
You can shop for all the above cases and more at Otterbox.

Got any suggestions for a 360degree camera for travel?
At the moment no, however I am expecting some new products in this arena come CES in January. Short term the Samsung 360 seems to be making great strides in marketing but I have not had a chance to review it yet.
I am keen to learn more on the Gyro Cam from Dareware labs which fascinate me every time I see it in action, but sadly don’t see it available to the public just yet!
Thanks for responding. I did a little research today, http://www.bestproducts.com/tech/gadgets/news/g1752/360-degree-cameras/
This one suggested a few cheapish ones
