B&O Beoplay P2
The smallest Bluetooth speaker B&O PLAY now offer is the immaculately designed and geometrically shaped P2. Removing all the control buttons and switches for a clean smooth finishes.
Controls
With the exception off the On/Off button on the base there are no other visible controls on the P2. Instead, the speaker is operated by tap and shake interactions that can be modified using the B&O App ( Android | iOS ) or controlled fully from your smartphone or tablet. Connection between devices is made over Bluetooth, with the P2 coming with the latest standard, 4.2, meaning a better, faster connection between your devices.
Sound
A rule of thumb used to be bigger is better when it came to speakers. With smaller models renowned for shallow tin like playback, but not anymore. Technology today allows for louder and more crisp playback with plenty of depth and bass from smaller devices.
Thanks to Bang & Olufsen Signature Sound, Beoplay P2 delivers a rich spacious sound and good definition of bass and kick drums. The speaker is supported by a new, mid-woofer driver and a peak power of more than 2 x 50 Watts.
So regardless of your musical taste, enjoying them outside or anywhere for that matter, will always be enjoyable.
Design
The sleek, pebble like finish is perfect to slip the P2 into your bag or pocket to take with you wherever you go. At the front the speaker grill is formed from a single anodized aluminium mesh, and finished with a durable polymer plastic base. Meaning the P2 will be up to travelling with you and should be ok for light dust and splashes, but is not water-resistant!
