News: The New Wired Wireless Beats!

The current headphone market is big business.  Not an event can go by without music or sports stars being snapped with their (mostly) over sized headphones on, getting worked up before the game or gig!

These sponsorships can be seen in the ticket prices on some of the high-end market, where some can reach £1000+ and even €100,000 (€110,000 if you want the stand!)!  The choices now are also endless.  Do you go wired or wireless? This latest offering from Beats/Apple could prove to be a popular offering as they tick many boxes to become a strong all round product.

The BeatsX are wireless earphones….. with a cable! But stick with it as these do make perfect sense.

They are wireless as they connect to your phone/tablet/mp3 via Bluetooth, so they do away with the cable hanging down from your ears to the device.  However the cable that tethers the ear buds together is where all the technology has been packed and is kept out of your way by being worn around your neck.

So if you are not completely convinced by the Apple Airpods, for example, these could be a better alternative!

Powered by the Apple W1 Chip, BeatsX can use iCloud to provide easy set up on your Apple devices (providing they are running the latest software), but will also work with any other Bluetooth connected devices.

The W1 Chip also enables, what Apple is calling Fast Fuel.  This means a 5 minute charge provides 2 hours of playback!  On a full charge the earphones can last 8 hours.  Charging is via a Lightening to USB A cable.
