App in the Air App
App in the Air (AITA) is one of those apps that once you’ve installed it, you’ll wonder how you ever travelled without it! As with the Solis X above, AITA also made my Best Travel Gadgets list for 2020 which published just as we all stopped travelling.
AITA is a personal travel assistant app that can gather up all your bookings, frequent traveller accounts and travel details into one easy to navigate space. A free version is available on Android, Apple and Samsung app stores but the premium provides a more ‘connected’ experience.
Usually, the Premium package is billed annually and opens up the app to give you real-time flight status, an automated check-in for flights and an SMS alert service for your friends & family contacts.
The step-up in packages is targetted at the frequent flier and where the free version is suitable for most, the premium is worth the price, but it’s even better when free!

How to Get AITA Free for 12 Months
Until 31st March 2021, Skyroam Reward members can get a Premium AITA membership for free. To become a Skyroam Reward member just create a free account. At this point it’s worth ensuring you’ve downloaded the free version of App in the Air, so you’re ready to link the two.
