Two new bold colourways, both with a deep gloss finish, make up the Limited Edition Away Neon Collection ahead of the Summer 2023 season.
Away Neon Collection
Continuing its adventure into daring new luggage colours, Away has released the Neon Collection. Comprising Paradise Pink and Kiwi Green, the Neon Collection picks up where the Aura Collection left off, with Away not only experimenting with different colour options but also developing a more High-Gloss finish.
If anything, these new colours are more suited as an extension of last year’s Y2K collection.
As is often the case, a new collection doesn’t always mean new luggage, and the Neon line-up is no different, offering the exact specifications as its standard versions.
What’s Included
The Neon Collection comprises two of Away’s four standard models; The Bigger Carry-On and The Large. From the accessories line-up, The Cosmetics Bag and Everywhere Sling Bag will come in Paradise Pink only, while a Set of 4 Packing Cubes has been styled to match the suitcases’ interior and exterior.
As statement pieces go, the Paradise Pink, finished with such a deep gloss shine, will really stand out in airports this summer. The Kiwi Green is equally loud yet appears somewhat slightly more understated. Slightly.
The Bigger Carry-On is arguably the flagship case from Away. Its dimensions are inch-perfect for almost every overhead bin, and its build quality (as with all Away cases) is robust. Over-packers will love it thanks to the 48L internal space swallowing up more luggage than you would think is possible.
And I can stand by these words. My Jade Bigger Carry-On has been on every one of my trips in the last four years and hasn’t put a wheel wrong! Just the other week, as I was boarding a British Airways flight, the Cabin Crew complemented my case as they had just been discussing how good Away cases were. Shout-out to the crew of BA835!
What’s Not Included
There is, however, one omission when choosing a limited edition colourway from the new Neon Collection. Neither the Kiwi Green nor Paradise Pink Bigger Carry-Ons allow for the optional Battery Pack to be included.
Away was one of the first luggage brands to offer an optional 10,000mAh portable power pack built into its Carry-On cases. And to remain compliant with airline rules, the battery is ejectable if the unimaginable happens, and you have to check your case!
This will likely be due to the limited run of the collection and will probably not impact the choice of many travellers who must have this summer’s boldest new case!

The Away Neon Collection is available now, from $55/£50 for the four-piece Packing Cubes and up to $395/£345 for The Large. The Bigger Carry-On in Paradise Pink or Kiwi Green is $315/£280.
