Away Y2K Luggage Collection
Away has spruced up almost its entire range of cases with a new Pearlized finish to create a new collection named Y2K. The Flex, Aluminium and with Pocket cases are not included.
Inspired “by the frost and gloss of the early 2000s,” the Y2K collection adds three new colourways to the current polycarbonate shell versions of the traveller’s favourite cases.
Bling is a White finish with cream accents, Cyber Black and Dotcom, a deep blue that displays the depth of colours a pearlized finish gives when it catches the light.
Available in three pearlized colors in all four sizes, our Y2K Collection is inspired by the frost and gloss of the early 2000s.
Away
The top and side-mounted luggage handles have been dyed to match the deep shine shells, and each case comes with a patent leather luggage tag to complete the glossy styling.
Sadly, one feature that helped put Away cases on the map hasn’t made it into the Y2K collection. The USB Charger. This isn’t a selectable option for the Carry-On or Bigger Carry-On when any of the three new Y2K colourways are selected.
Accompanying the new cases, shoppers in North America can customize their Y2K case with one of three new Luggage Tag Charms, which is sold as a bundle and comprises a Lightning Bolt, Star and Heart. All of these are made from Vegan Leather and will attach to the luggage tags on the case.
Pricing
At the time of writing, all three colour options were available across the full range of cases in the Y2K Collection.
Pricing starts at $285/£260 for the Carry-On and continues up to $385/£345 for the Large Check-In case.
