To celebrate McLaren’s 60 years in the luxury car market and motorsport world, a Limited Edition TUMI | McLaren 60th Anniversary Collection of luggage has been released for the 2023 season featuring its current number 1 F1 driver, Lando Norris.

McLaren is a British automotive company known for its high-performance sports cars and supercars. Established in 1963 by Bruce McLaren, a legendary racing driver, the company has a rich history in motorsports, with numerous Formula One championships and victories.
Its cars are renowned for cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and exceptional road and track performance, including the iconic McLaren F1.
Pairing this design knowledge and the desire to perform at the highest level is why I am becoming a massive fan of F1 and luggage brands collaborating. The results are always jaw-dropping.
Expandable 4-Wheel Carry-On
The Limited Edition TUMI | McLaren 60th Anniversary Collection comprises five pieces that join the 2022 collection and the subsequent Carbon facelift to range the same year.
Starting with the biggest piece of luggage, the Aero International Expandable 4-Wheel Carry-On is the only case in this limited edition collection. It is primarily coloured in the iconic McLaren Papaya Orange colourway. The primary material used for this version is Polyester which replaces the Ballistic Nylon used previously. This results in a slightly heavier case by some 170g.
Inside the expandable case, the mesh dividers are embellished with a large 60, a nod to the purpose of the collection, and the compression straps that mimic the 4-point harness of the McLaren cars gets a chrome facelift and bears both brand names.
Aside from the new silhouette, this Limited Edition case boasts the exact specifications as its sibling, with a 3-point telescopic handle, a removable suit carrier, four dual spinner wheels and a TSA-approved lock.
Velocity Backpack
I admired the TUMI | McLaren Velocity Backpack in the 2022 collection over the later Carbon upgrade version, with the pop of Papaya providing the illusion of shape to the bag. For this Limited Edition run, the Velocity Backpack is consumed by a near-total Papaya colourway finished with accents of CX6 grey and black carbon fibre around the rim and to the top of the pack.
The Velocity Backpack includes the TUMI Tracer® tag, a laptop compartment for up to 16″ models and a built-in USB port that can be attached to a portable power pack for more effortless charging on the go.
A limited-edition collection celebrating McLaren’s 60th Anniversary. In their signature Papaya with exclusive finishes, each piece nods to the heritage of our renowned partner. Distilled from McLaren’s brand DNA, the rigid front panels are modeled after their aerodynamic supercars.
