The Twelve South PlugBug will come in two models and two versions of those models.
The PlugBug 50 will have two USB-C charging ports and a maximum output of up to 50W. The PlugBug 120 will have four USB-C ports and a maximum output of up to 120W.
Both will come as a US-only power prong version or a global PlugBug Travel. For international travellers, the PlugBug Travel version includes interchangeable adapters for US, UK, EU, AU, KR, and CN sockets, ensuring compatibility in various countries.
It also ships with a travel case to keep the power prongs safe.
The power capacity on both models will allow for simultaneous charging of various devices, not just Apple products, and they have Fast charging capabilities.
Apple Find My
However, the Twelve South PlugBug’s standout feature is its integration with Apple’s Find My network. Built directly into the charger, Find My ensures you’ll never misplace or lose your charger again.
This functionality lets you easily locate the PlugBug using the Find My app on your iPhone or other Apple devices. If you leave it behind in a hotel room or forget it at home, the charger can emit a sound or alert you, offering peace of mind, especially during hectic travels.
