News: Tumi Earbuds

Tumi are best known for their range of luggage, bags and related accessories. What most may not know though, is that they have their own range of branded tech. Mainly powerbanks, cables and speakers, although all priced at the top end of their respective markets.

Well one of the leaders in high end luggage is now trying their luck at the top end of the headphone market!

Bravely, 2 weeks after Bose announced their 2 new ranges of headphones than Tumi release their offering.

The Tumi earbuds tick all the normal boxes for a set of wireless earbuds and the design looks ok, but we cant help but think you feel these in your ears after several hours of use.

• 25hrs wireless playtime (with powerpack)
• Upto 33ft Bluetooth connectivity
• Aircraft grade CNC aluminum casing
• 500 mAh battery bank
• Nylon Ballistic case

They have added a promo video to their YouTube Channel although it does not give to much away!

There are little to no reviews on them as yet, not surprisingly as they are priced at £200! You can pick up a pair up from their online store, but you do get a good amount of kit included.

At this price range it is hard to understand who they are marketing these too. The high end headphone market has many players all with audio as their pedigree and most would not look to Tumi when investing in a pair.

So for now these seem to be a very expensive pair of something to pick up whilst buying that Carbon Fibre Donington Carry On you know you want!
