$Provincetown_beach – {Tech} for Travel$

Every year my 26 year “West Coaster” self, leaves my foggy San Francisco Bay, for two glorious weeks at the end of Cape Cod; to relax, recharge, and refuel in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

This wonderful, complex and historic community, is a melting pot of young and old, with rich history of early Americana as the official first landing of the pilgrims (before they moved on to settle in Plymouth). Provincetown had kept pace with the changing times without losing its relationship with its history of seafaring livelihoods, crafts and the arts, outstanding restaurants and as a welcome haven for the many LGBT who visit this “lands end”. Many like myself, who return each year for a “touchstone” to the past. Getting there is half the fun with a 90 min fast ferry ride out of Boston on Bay State Cruise; or short flight on Cape Air. The drive to the Provincetown from Boston can by car take over three hours at the height of the season.
