For the true Phablet fans amongst us, today could probably not come soon enough, as Samsung get ready for their Galaxy Note Unpacked 2016 event.

Today in New York at 11am EST and 4pm BST in London (at a side event) Samsung will announce the next Note model.
It’s predecessor, the Note 5, never made it to the UK market (they skipped 6 altogether!). So if you are on the Note 4 or maybe one of the earlier S models you could be looking forward to this launch.
The launch page is now live with the video streaming ready to go.
There are plenty or rumors and image mock ups of what the new model will look like, but some of the main features expected to appear are:
- Android 6.0.1 OS
- 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5
- 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera
- Fingerprint, Accelerometer,Iris scanner, Gyro, Proximity
- 3,500 mAh battery
