Heat It Pro // Features

This compact device contains the key to immediate relief from insect bites. Heat It Pro is designed to be an accessible solution for many users. Whether you’re a family looking for a chemical-free way to protect your children from bites, a traveller venturing into bug-prone regions, or a sports fan enjoying outdoor games, the Heat It Pro offers a practical, efficient, and environmentally friendly solution.

The Heat It™ Pro applies concentrated heat directly to the skin area affected by an insect bite or sting. This application of heat is designed to neutralize the insect venom and alleviate the itching, swelling, and discomfort that often accompany bites from mosquitoes, bees, wasps, and other common insects.

It takes the power needed from a smartphone and comes as either a Lightning or USB-C version, covering almost all current popular smartphones today.

One of the standout features of the Heat It Pro is its integrated illumination mechanism. This addition, a mini torch, enhances the device’s usability in low-light outdoor settings, ensuring that a user can see and target the bite correctly.

App Control

Its discreet and portable design makes it an easy addition to any outdoor kit. Travellers can leave creams, sprays, and other treatments at home. The Heat It™ Pro provides a clean, sustainable alternative that fits seamlessly into outdoor adventures.

A dedicated smartphone app for the device provides some control over the intensity of the heat and the duration of its application.

The Heat It™ Pro is not just another gadget but could provide a solution for those prone to bug bites or struggle not to itch and scratch.

Frequent travellers are also more at risk of encountering bed bugs, which can leave multiple bites at a time. The Heat It Pro can deliver over 900 treatments from a fully charged smartphone. It promises to make the summer of 2024 one of comfort, convenience, and, most importantly, uninterrupted outdoor enjoyment.

Price

The launch of the Heat It™ Pro is being propelled by a Kickstarter campaign, aiming to raise at least $50,000.

The Heat It Pro will retail at $59 when it goes on general sale. However, it starts on the popular crowdfunding site Kickstarter, where a single USB-C or Lightning version has a 20% discount and is available for $34/£27.

Shipping for Kickstarter backers is due to begin in May, plenty of time before many head off to warmer climates for their summer holidays!

  1. This is cool but you can already buy devices like this all over the place for less than $40 (and that’s not even checking Temu). Heck, even REI is cheaper than this for the same basic product. I do think it’s awesome as someone who suffers greatly from insect bites 🙂 but their kickstarter prices is a bit high for a white label product.
